3.  Who is responsible for this website?

Swiss law requires us to identify the individuals legally responsible for a commercial website. The following are the authorised representatives of Tourisoft Sàrl responsible for the content published here:

4.  Where do we operate?

We’re a Swiss company, but Hotel-Spider serves clients around the world. Our platform is actively used in Switzerland, across the European Union, and in India. That means we’re subject to data protection and business regulations in all three jurisdictions.

Switzerland

Swiss law governs everything from how we’re incorporated to how we run our contracts. The key frameworks that apply to us are the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG), which came into force on 1 September 2023.

European Union

Because we offer services to hotels across EU member states, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to how we handle the personal data of EU-based individuals. We have appointed an EU representative as required by Art. 27 GDPR — their contact details are:

EU representativeHotel-Spider Germany GmbH
AddressKemperplatz 1, 10785 Berlin
Contactprivacy@hotel-spider.com

We also monitor our obligations under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and the EU AI Act, to the extent they apply to our products.

India

For our clients and operations in India, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA). Depending on the context, we act either as a Data Fiduciary (when we decide how data is processed) or a Data Processor (when we process data on behalf of a client). Our Indian subsidiary, Tourisoft India Private Limited, handles local operations.

5.  What do we actually do?

Hotel-Spider is a B2B SaaS platform for the hospitality industry. Our tools help hotels:

  • Connect to online travel agencies (OTAs) like Booking.com and Expedia
  • Manage room inventory and pricing across all channels from one dashboard
  • Reach corporate travel buyers via global distribution systems (GDS)
  • Accept direct bookings through an integrated booking engine
  • Appear on metasearch engines like Google Hotels and TripAdvisor
  • Automate payment processing

6.  Our intellectual property

Everything you see on this website — the text, images, graphics, logos, the Hotel-Spider brand, product names, and the software behind it all — belongs to Tourisoft Sàrl or is used under licence. It’s protected under Swiss copyright law (URG/LDA), EU Directive 2019/790, and international IP conventions.

7.  Limitations of liability

We work hard to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date. But we can’t guarantee it’s always perfect — websites have errors, links break, and things change.

  • We’re not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from relying on information on this website
  • We’re not responsible for temporary downtime or unavailability of the site
  • We don’t control third-party websites we link to and aren’t responsible for their content

This limitation doesn’t apply to intentional misconduct or gross negligence on our part — those are carved out under Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
