Legal Notice
Hotel-Spider · Operated by Tourisoft Sàrl · Last updated: April 2026
This page tells you everything you need to know about the company behind Hotel-Spider — who we are, where we're based, who is legally responsible, and how our business operates. It also covers our regulatory obligations across Switzerland, the European Union, and India.
We keep personal and contact details to a minimum on this page. If you need to get in touch, role-based contact addresses are listed in Section 2.
1. Who are we?
Hotel-Spider is a cloud-based hospitality distribution platform. We help hotels and accommodation providers manage their room availability, pricing, and distribution across online travel agencies, global distribution systems, booking engines, and metasearch sites — all from one place.
The platform is owned and operated by Tourisoft Sàrl, a Swiss limited liability company (Sàrl) founded in 2002 and headquartered in Nyon, in the Canton de Vaud.
2. How to reach us
We publish role-based contact addresses here rather than personal details, in line with our data minimisation principles. The right inbox will always reach the right team.
3. Who is responsible for this website?

4. Where do we operate?
We're a Swiss company, but Hotel-Spider serves clients around the world. Our platform is actively used in Switzerland, across the European Union, and in India. That means we're subject to data protection and business regulations in all three jurisdictions.
Switzerland
Swiss law governs everything from how we're incorporated to how we run our contracts. The key frameworks that apply to us are the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG), which came into force on 1 September 2023.
European Union
Because we offer services to hotels across EU member states, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to how we handle the personal data of EU-based individuals. We have appointed an EU representative as required by Art. 27 GDPR — their contact details are:
We also monitor our obligations under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and the EU AI Act, to the extent they apply to our products.
India
For our clients and operations in India, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA). Depending on the context, we act either as a Data Fiduciary (when we decide how data is processed) or a Data Processor (when we process data on behalf of a client). Our Indian subsidiary, Tourisoft India Private Limited, handles local operations.
